Quick Dry Top Coats

I am the QUEEN of painting and re-painting my nails. If there is even a small wave or imperfection on a nail I have to take the polish off entirely and do it over (and that usually means the same for the rest of the nails or they just don't seem to match in my head). My Husband used to hate that after I painted my nails I refused to touch anything for almost an hour because of the fear I would smudge one.. but now.. problem solved.

The Sally Hansen was my top favorite and is still a great product. You apply a thin coat over the top of your nail polish and it helps to seal and dry your polish within minutes. It helps your polish last longer and guards against chips. The one downfall that I noticed is that sometimes you get small bubbles after it dries. Typically that is because the nail polish you use underneath is thicker and traps air so as it tries escaping it gets caught under the quick drying top coat, so watch for that.

Seche Vite is my new favorite. A friend of mine gave it to me as a gift and after using it I understand why she loves it. It is applied the same way, a thin layer over the color polish, but seems to be thinner and go on smoother.

The price points are very similar so with that being said, it comes down to personal preference.
